Agent Oracle Leaderboard

Points come from work, not from clicking. A completed conversation with the agent scores once the session reaches a resolution — an answer the agent is willing to commit to — rather than once per message, so padding a thread with filler turns earns nothing. Reading an article to the end, finishing a quiz on a topic you have actually read about, and completing the How-to-Use walkthrough each award a fixed amount that cannot be repeated for the same item.

Quiz answers are re-scored on the server against the stored answer key, so a score submitted by a modified client is discarded and replaced with the server's own tally. That is why a quiz result can differ from what the browser showed for a moment: the server number is the real one.

The board is cumulative and deliberately unhurried. There is no daily reset and no streak multiplier, because both reward turning up rather than learning something. A reader who works through a hub over three weeks will pass someone who spent one afternoon farming short sessions, and that is the intended outcome.

Ties are broken by the earlier timestamp — whoever reached the score first holds the higher rank. Scores are never edited by hand; if a bug awards points wrongly, the fix is applied to the scoring rule and the affected totals are recomputed for everyone at once.

Identities are masked for everybody, including signed-in members and administrators viewing the public page. You see your own position clearly and everyone else as a masked handle, because a public ranking of named accounts is not something a reader agreed to when they asked an agent a question.

Nothing on the leaderboard is sold, exported to advertisers, or used to build a profile. It exists to give the reading and question-asking loop a visible arc, and it is deleted along with the rest of your data if you use the data-deletion request in your account.

Experience is awarded for finishing learning tracks, passing knowledge checks, filing corrections that are accepted, and returning across separate days. It is not awarded for message volume, because rewarding volume would only teach people to type more.

That makes the board a rough ranking of who has worked through the material, which is the only thing worth competing on here.

Scoring is recomputed on the server from the underlying activity rather than accepted from the browser. Repeating a quiz you have already passed does not add to your total, and a correction that is later reversed removes the points it earned.

Streaks count distinct days, not sessions, so nothing is gained by splitting one afternoon into six visits.

Only a display name and totals are public. Account emails and session contents are never shown, and you can use the board without appearing on it by leaving your display name unset.

If you would rather not participate at all, none of the site's editorial content is gated behind it — the leaderboard is an incentive, not a paywall.
